Field of Arts

Call to Artists – Field of Arts

Let yourself be inspired by the colourful landscapes of the region by participating to Fields of Arts. The new collaborative effort presented by the Prescott & Russell Arts Council (CAPRAC) and Prescott Russell Tourism (TPRT), combines the pleasures of creating in plein-air with agro-tourism in Prescott & Russell. Take full advantage of an afternoon to recharge your creative batteries in a picturesque environment, at one of the regions’ many local producers. Let the colours, textures, and sounds of the outdoors inspire you to create art that mirrors our beautiful region.

Fields of Arts will take place on the grounds of three of our regions’ local producers. L’Artisan Farm, Garden Path Homemade Soaps, and Vergers Villeneuve and Blueberry Farm will become temporary hosts for artists, allowing them to discover privileged spaces to inspire their creativity. Please note that these opportunities, exclusive to CAPRAC members, will be limited to a maximum of 12 artists per locations in order to maximize the experience of each participant.

Please note that Fields of Arts is a collaborative effort with the tourism industry, which means that their will be visitors at each location, excited to purchase local products and watch the artist at work. We believe this is a unique opportunity to showcase your creative process and promote your art.
