To mark Culture Days 2021 (September 24 to October 24), the Prescott-Russell Arts Council invites regional artists to contribute a drawing or drawings that represent their interpretation of the annual theme RE:IMAGINE. This theme signals a positive turning point - a commitment to create concrete change in the future of arts and culture.
During the month of Culture Days 2021, we will invite the community to download the submitted drawings, add colour to them according to their interpretation of the theme and share their creations on social media.
- Think about the theme RE:IMAGINE - What does it mean to you in the context of creating concrete change in the future of arts and culture? Do you want to see change in its accessibility, use of public spaces, sustainability of resources, community impact, etc.? You can find some interesting blogs on the Culture Days website to inspire you (https://culturedays.ca/en/blog).
- Get inspired by your favorite colouring books and the various levels of difficulty possible. (Ideally, your drawing should include only black lines and enough empty space to add colour later).
- Once your drawing is finished, scan it and email it to the Prescott-Russell Arts Council with your name, the title of the work and, if applicable, your social media pages (we will tag your pages when we share the coloured drawings).
Drawing submission deadline: September 20, 2021
N.B.: By participating, you agree that your drawing may be shared by CAPRAC for free download.
