Karine Noyes 2

It is with mixed emotions that I announce my resignation from the Prescott-Russell Arts Council, effective July 28th, 2022, as I’ll be heading to new horizons and new challenges this fall.

It has been a true honour to help lead the organization over the past 2 years as Coordinator and more recently, Executive Director. I wanted to take a moment to let our members know how much I've enjoyed my time at CAPRAC – it's been so great working with you and getting to know you. I consider myself fortunate to have had the chance to work in my field, supporting the arts and culture sector in my community, having made so many connections and developed friendships that I’ll cherish forever.  My journey at CAPRAC is marked by the global pandemic, having set in a few weeks after I began my contract. Almost overnight, we had to shift our operations to navigate the uncertainties of this new situation. We learned to adapt and grow as an organization despite these hurdles, and I am very proud of what we’ve accomplished.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the CAPRAC Board of Directors for their unwavering trust, support, and encouragement as we faced unprecedented challenges and tackled new inspiring projects. Above all, I would like to express my extreme gratitude to Yanik Gosselin and Zackari Gosselin, for the stellar team we’ve built over the last few years – I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to serve alongside such passionate and talented individuals who always kept me going with their dedication, positivity, and sense of humour.

I wish everyone at CAPRAC the very best and am excited for the next adventures to come. I plan on pursuing my engagement and contribution to the region’s arts, culture, and heritage sector, in one way or another, and you can count on my presence at the upcoming CAPRAC events - the team is working on exciting programming this fall! I hope to see you there!
