After a successful first edition last year, the Prescott-Russell Arts Council is relaunching the Prescott-Russell Colouring Book to mark Culture Days 2022 (September 23 to October 16). Once again, we invite artists from the region to contribute one or more drawings that represent their interpretation of the theme Our Story in Colour. This theme invites you to reflect on our heritage that makes our region unique.
During the month of Culture Days 2022, we will be inviting the community to upload the submitted drawings, add colour to them and share their creations on social media.
This Event is a part of the Ontario Culture Days Regional Hub Program.
Think about the theme Our Story in Colour - What does it mean to you in the context of our region's historical and natural heritage? What story do you want to tell and how do you want to tell it in your drawing?
Get inspired by the Prescott & Russell 2021 Colouring Book, your favorite colouring books, and the various levels of difficulty possible. (Ideally, your drawing simply includes black lines and enough empty space to add colour later).
Once your drawing is complete, scan it and email it to the Prescott-Russell Arts Council with your name, the title of the work and, if applicable, your social media pages (we will "tag" your pages when we share the coloured drawings).
Drawing submission deadline: September 18, 2022
N.B.: By participating, you agree that your drawing may be shared by CAPRAC for free download.
