Biography

Born in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Carole moved to Ontario at the age of 7. From her youth, she developed a great interest in drawing. Her passion led her to pursue a post-secondary education in graphic arts from where she graduated. As her career takes different turns, Carole deepens her passion as an artist by refining her technique and constantly exploring new avenues. Today, Carole is dedicated to fine arts, and tries to bring a touch of constant originality by matching different mediums to her works. While exploring different mediums, she mostly uses acrylic and mixed medium. Carole is a member of a few associations and gallery and participates in juried and group shows.

Artist Statement

Full of colour and emotions, my paintings have been inspired by my Graphic Arts studies. No matter the subject, I strive to show it can be bold, rich and dramatic. My paintings reflect my passion for drawing and the way I view the world. My influences are first and foremost everything I see, feel and experience. Always seeking a tangible expression, painting is for me a source of energy, a challenge in constant evolution. While exploring different mediums, I mostly use acrylic and mixed medium.
