EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Position: Membership Coordinator

Commitment: 25 – 30 hours per week

Compensation: $20/hour

Description: Under the direction of the Executive Director (ED), the Membership Coordinator (MC) will support tasks associated with membership and administrative functions related to the operations of the organization.

The MC will work closely with the operational team, members, community partners and supporters to achieve our organizational objectives corresponding to the promotion of the regional arts, culture and heritage.

Duties: Administrative responsibilities relating to membership inquiries, recruitment, renewal and general operation of the organization. Assigned tasks include data entry and maintenance, tracking payments, and the preparation of digital correspondence such as newsletters and mailings to members. Occasional assistance with other duties and event logistics will be requested.

The MC will be expected to inform the ED regularly on the status and progress of their work, actively participate in weekly team meetings and other tasks necessary relating to the administrative functioning of the organization.

Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Fluency in both English and French for written and oral communications. Self-motivation and ability to work independently. Access to reliable internet connection and personal transportation.

Assets: Knowledge and experience with digital tools such as Office Suite, Google platform, Shopify, social media. Previous experience working with nonprofit organizations and/or administrative experience considered an asset.  Familiarity with service area (region of Prescott and Russell).
