For a third year, the Prescott-Russell Arts Council is relaunching the Prescott-Russell Colouring Book to mark Culture Days 2023 (September 22 to October 15). Once again, we invite artists from the region to contribute one or more drawings that represent their interpretation of the theme Colouring the Counties. This theme invites you to highlight what makes our region unique!
During the month of Culture Days 2023, we will be inviting the community to download the submitted drawings, add colour to them and share their creations on social media.
Guidelines
- Think about the theme Colouring the County – What does this mean to you in the context of our region’s heritage and its residents?
- Get inspired by the Prescott & Russell 2022 Colouring Book, your favorite colouring books, and the various levels of difficulty possible. (Ideally, your drawing simply includes black lines and enough empty space to add colour later).
- Once your drawing is complete, scan it and email it to the Prescott-Russell Arts Council with your name, the title of the work and, if applicable, your social media pages (we will “tag” your pages when we share the coloured drawings).
