Call to Artists: 2023 Virtual Holiday Market – November 1 to December 19

As the holiday season approaches, CAPRAC wants to encourage local purchasing and provide online sales opportunities for local artists. In addition, we want to provide a shopping experience that is accessible to everyone, no matter where you are! As such, we are pleased to make this special call to members and artists in the region who wish to exhibit and sell their work online during the CAPRAC Gallery Virtual Holiday Market.

Exhibition period: November 1 to December 19, 2023

To participate:

  • Become a CAPRAC member* or renew your membership. The 2023-2024 membership form is now available here.
  • Complete the submission form by Sunday, October 29, 2023.

* Only CAPRAC members are eligible to apply to exhibit in the CAPRAC Gallery.

Submission criteria:

While you can submit any works for this call, we recommend:

  • works and crafts on the theme of winter, Christmas, the holidays, etc.
  • small-format works at a variety of price points
  • special products (cards, festive decorations, gifts, etc.)

In addition to the benefits listed below for exhibiting on the e-commerce platform, this exhibition session offers the following opportunities:

  • All works of art submitted for the 2023 Virtual Holiday Market will be considered for exhibition at the CAPRAC booth during the Hawkesbury Expo (more information on the event here)  ;
  • Possibility of other promotional exhibitions.

CAPRAC Gallery allows our members to exhibit and sell their work through a specialized online trading platform for the sale of artwork, downloadable content (workshops, printable content, and more).
